Summer Time, Summer Time, Sum..Sum..Summer Time

Hurray - its summer again, time to drag out the togs and hit the water. Erika is really enjoying our new pool and is getting more and more used to the water every day.

She loves being a big girl





She is getting so much bigger and more confident all the time. Such a big girl - she sleeps in a big girl bed now and has never fallen out. She keeps her dummy under the pillow as she only uses it when she is sleeping at night. She also has cut down to only one bottle a day... she has a mid afternoon bottle and doesnt need one when she goes to bed any more at night. What a good girl.

Plunket says Im beautiful

I went to visit the plunket nurse for my 2 year check up and I passed my warrant of fitness...

I am now 13kg and 91cm tall, which is at the high end of the scale for height and above average for weight.

My memory is excellent, I speak clearly in sentences and my understanding is very good. I can run and dance and I have just learned to jump with both feet off the ground in the last week!! Im sooooo clever.

I sing songs and play lots of games with my babies... sometimes the babies are naughty and they have to sit in the 'thinking corner'. Thats where you have to go if you are not being very good when you are at daycare. I change the dolls nappies, put them to bed and give them bottles. Mostly they have to sleep.

I also went to visit the dental nurse for my first check up and she says I have beautiful teeth I just have to remember to brush the back ones really carefully to make sure all the food is out...

Even though Im really big and strong and clever, I still get really tuckered out and sometimes just crash on the couch at the end of a long day of running, dancing, jumping and singing.

Wild wet and windy walk

Erika and Mum went for a walk up Mount Wellington and it rained on us the whole way but we had lots of fun. We ended our wet walk with dinner and playtime at McDonalds - beside the big Mount Wellington...

She really liked playing in the tunnel, but mostly wanted me to get out of the tunnel so she could go back on the slide...

Me and Santa and its not even Christmas yet!!

We went to Daddy's work place last week to have a look at this huge blow up Santa that he just got and its going on the roof of his work place. Erika was amazed at the size of Santa. She was very afraid to start with, typical, but got used to it in time. She loved it and had a huge hissy when we put it down.

I straightened Erikas hair and not only did she sit still for it, but she really liked it too...
