International Jetsetter

I took Erika on a holiday to visit her Nana who is living in Australia for two weeks... boy did she have a blast! We started with a week in Club Med Lindeman:

It was pretty windy
But still warm and lots of fun

We hiked to the summit to see the spectacular views. Erikas hiking mainly involved being carried which becomes rather tiring for those doing the carrying:

We fed this cheeky cockatoo which wouldnt leave our table.

Erika built a beautiful sandcastle which looked a lot like a wall:

Erika liked watching Archery with Nana:

...........but it got a bit exhausting....

In fact - lots of activities in her holiday were exhausting:

After our holiday on Lindeman we went to Adventure Whitsunday - a camping park in Cannonvale, near Airlie Beach...

We had a day safari to see wild crocodiles:

Erika howled loudly at this place as the guide showed us a frog close up which got away from him and jumped on Erikas face. Gave her a hua of a fright!

Then went to Mackay- to Bucasia to another camping ground:
There was lots of wildlife around. Semi-tame Possums, loads of birds, and frogs etc.
We flew out of Mackay through Brisbane Airport and back to Auckland. Erika LOVES take off and landing on the planes saying that the bumpy bits are the best.
Back home to normality now...
